The interiors of the restaurant are a joint effort from Winn Wittman Architects of Austin and the renowned interiors team of Houston-based Nina Magon. The restaurant has 7,000 square-feet of indoor space and 2,000 square-feet of outdoor courtyard dining. Cocody also features a large bar area with an ingeniously lit, free-standing metal bar, a lounge off the bar and a semi-private Chef’s Tasting Room with views of the kitchen.
With a nod to the Art Deco era for which the center on West Gray was originally designed in the 1930s, the interior shimmers with hundreds of crystal lights that seem to hover and float above the main dining room, glow within architectural columns and archways and shine like pieces of art in various rooms.
